Who can volunteer?
Homewood welcomes community members over the age of 16, from high school students to senior citizens, who are dependable and have a sincere desire to share their time.
How much time should you give?
We ask that volunteers commit a minimum of two to four hours per week for a period ranging from three to six months or up to one year, depending upon the program. Volunteers of the café, gift shop and patient library are expected to make a minimum 70-hour commitment.
How do you become a volunteer?
Print and complete the Volunteer Application Form and mail to Volunteer Services at the address on the application with two completed reference forms. Download the Volunteer Reference Request Form here .
References may be from employers, teachers/professors, volunteer work supervisors or coaches (references from family members are not accepted.) Attaching a resume is optional.
